The hotel was good at offering what a basic hotel is: a bed, a writing desk and a bathroom. It was clean, staff was forthcoming and friendly and even breakfast was OK. Free wi-fi was a plus!
The hotel could do with installing airconditioning, and the clothes iron I got to borrow was leaky. The wi-fi could also be a bit more efficient, and there could have been more power outlets in the room. However, these do not detract too much from an otherwise good experience, and it provided good value for money.
Julie the owner is a lovely lady, and produces excelleny food such as you would get at home. i.e nothing prentious or over fancy. Good plain home cooking. Clean comfortable and extremely reasonably priced and resently decorated. I would recommend this highly highly to everone, but don't expect fancy pictures on the walls, very much in the modern minimalist style.
Hotel staff helpful and off road parking was useful.
Breakfast was fairly basic - full English always a better option!
staff excellent, parking very useful
really needed some tinned fruit (grapefruit, prunes etc) for breakfast as do not eat carbohydrates.
The staff were extremely helpful. The rooms we had were clean and reasoably spacious. The location was good near a tube station.
The very helpful and professional front of house staff
Liked the fact that the bedroom and bathroom were clean and tidy expecially after entering the shabby back door entrance from the very small parking area.
Did not like breakfast area, did not like the idea of breakfast in the basement. Very shabby area - more like a "truckers" cafe than a hotel dining room. Also very small area, not at all relaxing or welcoming. However the breakfast that was availbale was adequate.
We asked if we could have breakfast at 7am because we were running in the London Marathon, even though the official breakfast start time was 8am, and the receptionisy sorted this out for us without hesitation. Very nice breakfast. Very clean room and nice bathroom.
The room was facing onto the main road so it was very noisy-need to get better sound insulation. Also-the room was very small.
That it was available. Quite clean apart from a chip under the bed!
Expensive for what it is. Hot in room and not able to sleep with the window open due to noise from traffic.
The hotel staff is excellent and always helpful. Bus and underground stations are close to the hotel - it takes about 15-20 minutes by bus to Victoria Station and 5-10 minutes by underground.
In my opinion, there should be a wider range of dishes for breakfast.
position is excellent near tube station. excellent value for money considering hotel prices in London and that this hotel is not far from city center. room has been very clean. staff has been very nice and cooperative
outside appearance of hotel is not looking promising and hotel restaurant for breakfast is looking outdated and poorly outfitted, but anyway positive things prevailed in overall marking.
My partner was disappointed with the breakfast as he would have preferred a cooked one and the dinning room/area is in need of an overhaul.
It was close to a tube station.
There is no parking unless you are willing to pay £15 a day for them to keep it in what can only be described as a back yard. Hotel staff were not helpful, breakfast was poor.
Close to tube. Friendly staff. Easy wireless.
Spartan breakfasts and tiny rooms.
Breakfast poor and there isn't restaurant.
